Learn about ASC's Emerging Creator and Creative Renewal Fellowships, which funds professional development and artist development for emerging and established Mecklenburg County-based artists.
The Creative Renewal Fellowship is designed to provide a sabbatical-like experience for Mecklenburg-based creatives with over 10 years of experience looking to expand or re-invigorate their creative practice. This opportunity is aimed at helping established creatives combat creative burnout and integrate new mediums/ideas into their practice.
Meanwhile, the Emerging Creator Fellowship is aimed at creatives with less than 9 years of experience who are still exploring their practice and need to take creative risk and/or need to gain new skillsets. This opportunity is not intended to complete previously started work.
