York County Community Foundation Endowment Fund

The York County Community Foundation was established in 1988 to encourage charitable giving within the local community. Its mission is to bring together donors, community leaders and nonprofits to make positive impacts throughout York County, S.C.

The volunteer board of advisors have awarded $450,731 to local nonprofits over the last five years to support projects that enhance lives and improve the community.The Foundation's grantmaking generally falls within nine primary investment areas (as defined by the IRS National Taxonomy of Exempt Organizations):
