Davidson Community Foundation

Davidson Community Foundation’s mission is to improve and enhance the lives of Davidson-area residents by working with local leaders, donors, foundations and nonprofits to address Davidson’s most pressing needs.

Founded in 2020, Davidson Community Foundation is a local philanthropic fund established by residents to bolster nonprofit organizations serving our unique community. Guided by a diverse board of directors, DCF expands philanthropic efforts in the community and directs funding where it is needed most. Current focus areas include affordable housing, especially critical home repairs; early childhood education; and emergency needs, with emphasis on the needs of senior citizens.

Since its inception, Davidson Community Foundation has raised more than $1.4 million to provide assistance for transformative projects designed to enhance the lives of Davidson-area residents.
